Russell H. Aborn
Russ Aborn
has been in the transportation industry for over 35
years and founded PMC Logistics, Inc. in 1988.
Working with more than 300 companies over his career,
Russ is a
transportation expert who has conducted hundreds of
assignments aimed at reducing transportation costs.
These reductions were enabled by the application of
innovative shipping techniques in loading and load
sequencing, mode and carrier selection, and rate
negotiation.
Russ is involved in freight negotiations for clients at
the level of more than $300 million annually; in
addition, he has an excellent executive overview of the
quality and service issues that must be a part of any
transportation improvement program.
Jill Carney
Jill Carney has been with PMC Logistics
since 1993 and in the transportation industry since
1990. In that time she has worked with well over 100
companies on assignments covering international and
domestic freight transportation cost reduction, carrier
service measurement and reporting, freight bill audit
and data capture, analysis of inbound freight purchasing
terms, and conversion from prepay and add and delivered
price when it’s in the clients best interest.
Jill also has extensive experience in
transportation contracts and rules tariffs. She
works closely with clients in designing and implementing
freight audit and payment solutions and extensive
experience with various freight payment companies around
the United States.
Tom Dromey
Tom Dromey has
been involved with logistics for over thirty years. In
that time he has been active in LTL negotiations,
private fleets, carrier operations, truckload pricing
and distribution strategies.

clients’ transportation spend by $27.5MM through a
renegotiation of pricing and an engineered corporate
strategy to consolidate its carrier base for
consolidated efficiencies and savings.

distribution patterns for a national retailer which
reduced delivered cost by $3.5MM, reduced inventory
and ultimately increased sales through a more
efficient model.

an expedited control program for a multinational
corporation resulting in a 54% reduction in

Tom has
demonstrated a proven ability to provide a non biased
analysis of transportation/distribution. His
experience and an eye for opportunity have allowed for
improvements hinged on bottom line savings.
Mark Wyman
Mark Wyman has
been in supply chain management for over 25 years, with
a concentration in transportation and distribution. His
primary focus has been on freight management with an
emphasis on freight cost reduction.
Mark has a
demonstrated ability to mine, evaluate and interpret
data which enables the implementation of successful
solutions for clients and project related assignments.
Prior to
joining PMC in 1991, Mark was employed in retail
distribution for an east coast chain. |
